Prosper Healthtech Accelerator selects five new startups

Companies will take part in 12-week program

Five health-related tech startups will receive $60,000 each as part of the Prosper Healthtech Accelerator, a Birmingham-based accelerator that’s part of gener8tor.

The selected companies are Ask Me Your MD, based in Atlanta; Cerebro NeuroTech, based in Buffalo, New York; Dialytix, based in Birmingham; Revella Health, based in Ontario, Canada; and Recess, based in Wilmington, Delaware.

“The Spring 2024 class represents some of the brightest and most audacious talents in digital healthcare technology today,” said Kellie Clark, managing director of the Prosper Healthtech Accelerator. “These entrepreneurs are set to address some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare, and we are honored to support them on this journey.”

Supporters of the accelerator include Regions, Alabama Power, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
