Abe Harper is a small business owner in Mobile. Dave King is head of a large aerospace company in Huntsville.
But the presidents of Harper Technologies and Dynetics are working together as members of the newly formed Alabama Innovation Corporation.
That’s the group that came out of the similarly named Alabama Innovation Commission, a fact-finding group tasked by Gov. Kay Ivey to make recommendations about the state and its innovation future. The corporation is now implementing some of those findings.
