Cummings Aerospace awarded $21 million contract

Cummings Aerospace recently expanded with an office in Tucson, Arizona.

Cummings Aerospace Inc. has been awarded a $21 million additional contract from the Missile Defense Agency for work on an ongoing project.

The Huntsville-based, Native American woman-owned small business was one of seven companies originally awarded a contract for work on integrating and enhancing the Simulation Framework ToolKit and Coordinated Cyber/Electronic Warfare Integrated Fires Tool to conduct launch analysis with various sensor and weapon technologies. This additional award brings the total contract for Cummings to almost $31 million. Most of this work will be performed in Huntsville, with completion expected in July, 2024.

The company conducts modeling and simulation, software engineering, mechanical and electrical design, advanced manufacturing, model-based system engineering and quality, safety and mission assurance services.

In addition to the Huntsville headquarters, Cummings has offices in Largo and Niceville, Florida, and recently opened an office in Tucson, Arizona.
