RPI Rentals, a construction equipment rental and supply company, has opened its new headquarters in Irondale. It is an approximately $10 million investment.

The new 32,500-square-foot office and warehouse space and equipment yard on 24 acres doubles the company’s previous space. The move also positions the company more centralized for local clients, with improved access to all major interstates in the Birmingham metro area.

“We are excited to provide our team the space and resources to build on our existing momentum and ensure that we can consistently provide the highest level of service to our clients,” said Cary Thomas, vice president of RPI Rentals.

Partners on the headquarters project include Schoel Engineering, Goodgame Construction, with assistance from the Birmingham Construction Industry Authority and the Birmingham Business Alliance.

In addition to Alabama, RPI Rentals has a strong presence in Texas, with additional offices in Austin and Houston.
