Warren Manufacturing, a Birmingham-based manufacturer of bulk feed delivery truck bodies and trailers for the pork and poultry feed transport industry, has been acquired by CEI Equipment Co. LLC (CEI Pacer), a subsidiary of Kentucky Trailer.

Focused on achieving leading market positions in specialized transportation markets, Kentucky Trailer had acquired CEI Pacer in December 2018. With the acquisition of Warren Manufacturing, the company expands its footprint in the animal feed transportation industry with manufacturing operations now in Birmingham and CEI Pacer’s Cedar Rapids, Iowa facility.

CEI Pacer management members Dan McDowell, Jim Ross and Jim Stoelk, in combination with Jack Lyle, president of Warren Manufacturing, will lead the newly expanded animal feed division. “Warren Manufacturing’s 35-year history of manufacturing bulk feed equipment will be an asset as we continue to build our animal feed transportation business,” says Ross.

Kentucky Trailer will also retain Warren Manufacturing’s feed transportation team, including Vice President of Sales Mike Dennis.

“Since we formed Warren Manufacturing Inc. in 1985, we have strived to deliver the best products and services for our customers,” says Warren Manufacturing Founder and CEO Russell Warren. “I believe that by combining our assets and the experience of our team with Kentucky Trailer and CEI Pacer, our customers will benefit from the strength of these two fine manufacturers. The other Warren family of companies, which produce dump bodies and trailers, spreaders, refuse trailers and elevating fifth wheels, will continue under the Warren name and management.”
