Vacasa has purchased Meyer Vacation Rentals, once the largest property management company along the Alabama Gulf Coast. At its height in the late ‘70s, the company managed 2,200 properties. Vacasa reported that it is acquiring 980 units with its purchase of Meyer from SH Enterprises.  – VRM Intel

Proposed North Alabama zoo has location

The North Alabama Zoological Society announced the location for a new zoo and a sustainable farming research park. The zoo – which will be built in phases, the first of which will take about three years to build – will be on 279 acres of land next to I-65 in Limestone County. The 200-acre research center will be built on 200 acres north of Madison. – News 19
