Florence-based Oakland Metal Buildings has merged with Reed’s Metals of Brookhaven, Mississippi, and the combined firm will operate under the Reed’s Metals name.
The Oakland team will continue to work in Florence.
The combined firm offers nine sites, including two IAS-certified plants — one in Brookhaven and one in Florence.
Reed’s Metals is among the largest providers of metal roofing systems, metal roofing panels, pole barns and pre-engineered steel buildings in the South. It offers same-day availability on standard roofing orders and in-stock supplies, on-site roll-forming for standing seam projects and 72-hour job-site delivery for most orders.
