The Chilton County Health Care Authority has broken ground on a $6 million medical office building on the Ascension St. Vincent’s Chilton hospital campus.
The 25,000-square-foot facility should be complete this fall. It is estimated to bring 35 jobs to the area.
Officials from Hughston Orthopedics, Ascension St. Vincent’s Chilton, Heart South Cardiovascular PC, Chilton County Commission, the city of Clanton and the Chilton County Health Care Authority were on hand at the groundbreaking.
