Invariant Corp. is expanding its existing facility in south Huntsville by 23,000 square feet.
Working with Freedom Real Estate and Turner Construction, ground has been broken on the new suite, which will include space for electronics lab, two separate optics labs for hardware design and development, and a shipping and receiving center to store inventory. It also will have some office space and meeting areas.
The company moved into its current location on Chris Drive in Huntsville in July 2021.
“Invariant has experienced massive growth in such a short period of time that it was only natural to expand our footprint once again,” said David Anderson, president and CEO of Invariant.
The new facility should be completed in summer 2023, with the company expecting to add 25 jobs at that time.
Invariant Corp. offers hardware and sensor development, prototyping and custom software development. Each project is customized to the clients’ needs. Some of its clients include Dynetics, SAIC, CFD Research and Torch Technologies among others. It also has completed modeling and simulation projects for the U.S. Army.
