Birmingham-based Doster Construction Co. has completed work on the 25-bed Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Kentucky.
The new hospital — built in just 19 months — replaces one built in 1962.
“This is a crowning achievement,” said Rusty Tungate, administrator and CEO of Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. “This beautiful facility has become a reality that will serve our residents here in Green County for many years to come.”
JRA Architects, based in Louisville, designed the facility, which provides private rooms for all patients.
Doster, which consistently ranks among the top 400 contractors on the annual list compiled by Engineering News Record, was founded in Birmingham in 1969. The firm offers general contracting, construction management and design build services to multifamily, healthcare, hospitality, commercial, industrial and educational clients throughout the country.
