Doster Construction has broken ground on Daniel Corp.’s $60 million, 336-unit Village at Hays Preserve apartment complex in east Huntsville.
Designed by Nelson Architects, the complex features seven buildings on 22 acres in Hampton Cove, next to Hays Nature Preserve. The complex will include a clubhouse, saltwater pool and nature trail.
Construction should be complete in 2023 and the first units will be available in 2022.
Birmingham-based Doster has been expanding its presence in the Huntsville market. Other current projects there include the Constellation mixed-use development, Eclipse at City Center and an eye surgery center.
