Atlas Senior Living Acquires Atlanta Communities

Legacy Ridge at Buckhead was recently acquired by Atlas Senior Living.

Birmingham-based Atlas Senior Living has expanded again by acquiring three communities in Atlanta, building on the company’s earlier growth in the Georgia market. In 2019, the company acquired four other communities and it plans to open its Legacy Reserve at Old Town community in Columbus later this year.

The latest acquisitions were Legacy Ridge at Marietta, Legacy Ridge at Alpharetta and Legacy Ridge at Buckhead, all formerly under Allegro Senior Living management. The three locations offer assisted living and memory care services.

“There are great opportunities for senior housing in the Atlanta market,” said Greg Crutcher, chief marketing officer of Atlas. “With each area that Atlas is in, we strive to enhance and complement that unique location through our strong operational efficiency and offering enriching programs for seniors in an upscale setting.”

Atlas Senior Living owns and/or operates 27 retirement communities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee. The company has five facilities in Alabama in Montgomery, Enterprise, Trussville and Madison.
