Five Gulf Coast-based companies have been selected to participate in the gBETA Gulf Coast program, presented by gener8tor and Innovation Portal. The companies are Skillframe, Gulf Sterilization, Graphite Atlas, EquipSense and North Gulf Farms.
The seven-week program will help the startups pursue investment opportunities, as well as receive coaching and access to gener8tor’s national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.
“This program not only supports these five companies but brings opportunity and economic development to the entire Gulf Coast community,” said JD Jernigan, program director of gBETA Gulf Coast.
EquipSense helps machine-heavy businesses automate equipment tracking through real-time runtime and location monitoring, eliminating the need for manual logs and helping companies reduce downtime and operate more efficiently.
Graphite Atlas builds a clear, visual map of how a business’ organization operates, including its processes, teams, systems and relationships. The result is a model of the business’ organization that stays current as the business evolves.
Gulf Sterilization, of Mobile, enables medical device and life-science companies to overcome the slow, complex and risk-laden sterilization process by deploying a chlorine dioxide gas process, accelerating customers’ time to market.
North Gulf Farms, in Bayou La Batre, is transforming a fragmented network of remote oyster farms into a streamlined national supply chain by building on its 20 years of distribution expertise to provide premium restaurants with consistent, PTI-compliant access to the Gulf region’s finest harvest.
Skillframe is an AI-powered SaaS platform that deploys coordinated AI agents to automate sales and recruiting workflows for staffing and recruiting firms.
At the end of the program, the companies will make a pitch to investors, community partners and the public in Mobile on May 6.
