Winn-Dixie revealed its remodel of the Semmes store last week.
The grocer said that it had listened to customers and made improvements to enhance their shopping experience. Among the many changes were updates to the produce section that now features an expanded selection of organic fruits and vegetables; a new deli with grab-and-go meal options; a full-service meat department with a butcher on-site to make fresh cuts of meat by request; and a full-service seafood department that offers a variety of fresh seafood but also a “seafood made easy” option, where customers can choose a type of seafood, vegetables and seasoning to be packaged together for easy preparation at home.
The Semmes location was one of two stores to get the recent remodel — the other being in Niceville, Florida.
