New degree options in banking and logistics await Wallace State Community College students when they return to campus this fall.
Associate degree and short-term certificate options will be available in banking and finance and in logistics management.
“We’re excited to expand the program’s degree offerings. We believe the Banking and Finance option will ultimately serve our local banking industry better,” said Kathy Sides, Wallace State’s business department chair and business education instructor. “The Logistics Management pathway should prepare students to be versatile graduates within the manufacturing, distribution and trucking industries and make them among the most skilled, diverse graduates in the applicant pool. It encompasses many facets of business and industry.”
“Both of these degrees will open many doors for our students,” Sides added.
