An $8 million cancer facility could open as early as next summer at Tuskegee University. A $7.93 million grant from the National Institutes of Health will go toward the new biomedical annex at Tuskegee’s Carver Research Center. Blue Origin delivers engines to ULA

Ivey in AAMA Hall of Fame

Gov. Kay Ivey was named to the Alabama Automobile Manufacturers Association’s Hall of Fame for her role in facilitating the growth of the auto industry in Alabama. State Sen. Birmingham’s 16-screen Summit movie theaters are receiving a $5.1 million facelift. The facility opened in 1997, one of the first in Birmingham to offer 100% stadium seating. – Bham Now
