Stroma Vision Inc., based in Istanbul, Turkey, will move its headquarters to Birmingham after an investment from the Alabama Futures Fund. Stroma uses cameras and other equipment to monitor conditions in production, manufacturing and service environments, with software that can predict safety and quality control issues.  – AL.com

 

Auburn auto parts supplier plans $13.5 million expansion

Seohan Auto USA, a Tier 1 automotive parts supplier in Auburn’s Technology Park West, plans a $13.5 million expansion that will result in 12 new jobs over the next three years. The expansion will allow Seohan to manufacture parts for hybrid and electric vehicles. – Opelika-Auburn News

Auburn basketball’s historic trip to Israel will be televised

Auburn Men’s Basketball’s Birthright for College Basketball Tour, making Auburn the first school from one of the Power 5 conferences to take a preseason trip to Israel, will be televised on the SEC Network. The Tigers will compete in three games against Israel’s top teams during the 10-day trip July 31 through Aug. 10. – Auburn Athletics
