I-10 toll OK with governor
Gov. Kay Ivey said she’s ok with a “reasonable” toll on Interstate 10 to help pay the cost of a new bridge over the Mobile River and replacement of the Bayway, a project slated to begin next year at a projected cost of $2.1 billion. The toll would also be charged for the existing George Wallace Tunnel. Tolls in the $3 to $6 per trip range have been discussed. New aircraft for Huntsville flights
Silver Airways Tuesday introduced a new ATR 42-600 aircraft on its flight from Huntsville International Airport to Orlando. The 46-seat aircraft is a twin turboprop built in France. — Huntsville International Airport
Airbus to increase A220 flight range in challenge to Boeing
Airbus is planning to increase the range for the A220 by 450 nautical miles, making the craft suitable for more routes. Airbus acquired the A220 from Bombardier last year, and is building a second assembly line for them in Mobile. — Bloomberg

Hyundai donates $250,000 to Montgomery schools
Hyundai Motor America Tuesday donated $250,000 to the Montgomery public schools for STEM education. Hyundai has more than 3,000 employees in Montgomery, where it has built vehicles for some 15 years. — Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce
Alabama tech exports rise
