Scott Hall has been named the new president of Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville, effective March 21. He is succeeding Janice Hess, who will work with Hall in a consultative role until her retirement on July 31.
“I want to thank Jan for her 20 years of dedicated service and contributions to the company,” said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and CEO of Teledyne Technologies Inc., parent company to Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. “Under Jan’s leadership, the Engineered Systems Segment’s systems engineering, integration and advanced technology development capabilities were significantly strengthened, and the business grew through successful execution of complex programs for our defense, space and energy customers.”
Hess has served as president of Teledyne’s Engineered Systems Segment and Teledyne Brown Engineering since 2014. Prior to that, she held numerous leadership roles within the company including chief operating officer and chief financial officer for the segment.
Scott Hall has 30 years of experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy and NASA programs, first as a small business owner and later with Teledyne. He began his career with Teledyne in 2004 and has held numerous roles, most recently as Teledyne Brown’s senior vice president for maritime and manufacturing.
“I have closely watched Scott’s successful delivery of our current maritime and manufacturing programs, and I look forward to working with him as he builds upon our capabilities and programs,” Mehrabian said.
