The Robert Trent Jones golf course at the Ross Bridge resort in Hoover will close temporarily because chemicals applied to the greens, apparently mistakenly, are expected to kill the grass. Ross Bridge is working to notify golfers and reschedule their visits to the acclaimed course. The course is still playable now, but the grass is dying.   – AL.com

 

Sinequa opens office in Huntsville

Search engine developer Sinequa has opened an office in Huntsville, where it hopes to cater to federal agencies and others in the aerospace and defense industries. The new office of the Paris-based company is located at the Invention to Innovation Center on the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus.  – Executive Biz

Andalusia hospital CEO leaving for Kentucky
