Mobile-born Rock N’ Roll Sushi has expansion plans

Rock N’ Roll Sushi, the chain that began in Mobile in 2010, is planning 250 new locations in the next five years. The sushi chain is already in nine states, and the Southeast, particularly Texas and Florida, will be a focus during the expansion. – AL.com

Birmingham gives $1.3 million for restaurant move

The Birmingham City Council approved paying a downtown restaurant $1.3 million to move into a city-owned parking deck and redevelop it. Yo Mama’s will move into the location on Fourth Avenue North, and it will offer the restaurant more space and parking than it has at its current location. – The Birmingham Times

Austal names new VP
