Agape Care Group buys Birmingham hospice company

Agape Care Group, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is entering the Alabama market with the acquisition of Birmingham-based Journey Hospice. The Birmingham company serves patients in eight Alabama counties and 13 Louisiana parishes and will continue to operate under its current name. – Yahoo! Finance

Alabama solar company hopes to power Virginia high school

Birmingham-based EnPower Solutions is proposing to build a solar farm in Broadway, Virginia, that would power Broadway High School. The company would build a solar farm on four acres of land adjacent to the school. The Town of Broadway must approve the request. – Fox 3
