Radiance Technologies Wins $120 Million Army Contract

Huntsville’s Radiance Technologies has been awarded a $120 million contract to provide engineering and technical assistance in support of the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office.

A second U.S. Army contract went to Modern American Recycling & Repair Services of Alabama, which is located in Mobile.

Work on the Radiance project will be completed in Huntsville and at facilities at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

The work is to be completed by Sept. 29, 2023.

The MARRS  $9.5 million contract is for keeping the Wheeler Dredge Vessel in good working order and able to meet U.S. Coast Guard regulations, and work is to be complete by the end of December.

Austal USA, located across the Mobile River from MARRS, announced in August that it was buying the MARRS site.
