Birmingham’s Protective Stadium opens Saturday as the home of UAB Blazers Football, and Legacy Community Federal Credit Union has entered into a 10-year partnership with the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) for the Legacy Plaza at Protective Stadium, the main entry point for the stadium. – Legacy Community Federal Credit Union

UA to offer new manufacturing degree

The University of Alabama College of Engineering will begin offering a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering beginning in the fall of 2022. In addition, UA opened the Alabama Initiative on Manufacturing Development in Education, a partnership between the university and state’s largest manufacturers. – Tuscaloosa News
