Dr. Michael Chambers knows a little bit about entrepreneurship.
Before going to the University of South Alabama, where he is now associate vice president of research and economic development, he started his own company.
Now, he’s helping others do the same as a board member of Innovate Alabama, the public-private partnership created to spur startups and entrepreneurship in Alabama.
On the podcast, Chambers talks about Innovate Alabama, including how it began and how people can apply for supplemental grants through the group. The second round applications for those grants opens Tuesday, Jan. 17.
