This week’s episode of the Business Alabama podcast features David Maluff, who, along with his brother, Joe, owns Full Moon Bar-B-Que.
Based in Birmingham, Full Moon, known for its barbecue, slaw and desserts, among other menu items, has grown to 17 locations around Alabama and Mississippi. The restaurant opened in 1986, and the brothers Maluff bought it in 1997.
David Maluff says success has come by adhering to three key qualities: “Hot, fresh and with great value,” he says. “As long as we live by those three things then we’ll be successful, and we have, thank God, because our people that we trained believe in what we’re doing.”
