Montgomery’s Anna Lowder studied to be a journalist and lived in London for a while, but the family business, real estate, drew her in and back to Montgomery.
Specifically, she was introduced to New Urbanism, and she wanted to bring that sense of community – think about the beaches of 30A and their livability and walkability – back to her hometown.
She did that with Hampstead, a 416-acre development in east Montgomery that has grown since its inception in 2008 and continues to grow.
On the podcast, she talks about Hampstead, some earlier projects, and what she might have planned for the future.
