The United Mine Workers of America says it does not expect a move to decertify its members at Tuscaloosa County’s Warrior Met Coal to stand. A petition was filed last week with the National Labor Relations Board to disband the union at the Alabama mine company.  – AL.com

 

Pinnacle acquired by Virginia company

Marathon Robotics opens robot production facility

Marathon Robotics has opened what it says is the nation’s first autonomous ground robot production facility for military and police training. The facility will support the manufacturing of Marathon’s Autonomous Robotic Training Systems, which feature mannequins mounted on armored robots. They will operate on test ranges for military and law enforcement personnel. – 256 Today

 

 

Highland Group building indoor practice facility for Madison school

The Highland Group general contractor is building an indoor practice facility for James Clemens High School in Madison. The 10,000-square-foot facility will include indoor batting cages and locker room facilities.
