Want to make a bar-b-que sandwich at home like the pros do? You need the correct ingredients and now you can find those at Publix Super Markets across the state.
Full Moon Bar-B-Que, a Birmingham-based restaurant, has teamed up with Publix to offer its Chow-Chow and Southern Seasoning throughout supermarket shelves in Alabama. These two bar-b-que staples join the restaurant chain’s original barbeque sauce and Alabama White Sauce on Publix shelves.
“The sauces, chow-chow and seasoning are the perfect ‘pick-up’ to make your dishes at home have that extra Southern flavor that you have been missing,” said David Maluff, co-owner of Full Moon Bar-B-Que.
Full Moon has been in operation since 1986. Birmingham-natives David and Joe Maluff bought the original restaurant and have grown the business. They did this by expanding not only its products into supermarkets but also the menu to include chicken tenders, catfish, Buffalo-style wings and baked potatoes.
