Ivey blasts union efforts as UAW touts success

On the same day the UAW announced that more than half the workers at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International in Vance had signed union cards, Gov. Kay Ivey told the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce that the union effort was a “looming threat” to the state’s economy. She called the efforts to organize at Mercedes and Hyundai in Montgomery a “threat from Detroit.” – AL.com
