Huntsville officials call development potential ‘game-changer’
A development proposed for southeast Huntsville off Old Big Cove Road is potentially a “game-changer” for the area, according to city officials. The $67 million Village at Drake Farm on an 80-acre site would be similar to the Village at Providence. Community input is being gathered, although the land hasn’t been purchased, yet. – AL.com

Aerojet Rocketdyne successfully tests new Kratos rocket motor
Aerojet Rocketdyne has successfully tested Zeus 1, a large solid rocket motor it developed with co-funding by Huntsville-based Kratos. Kratos will use the motor to support vehicles for research, and hypersonic and ballistic missile target vehicles. Don Hairston has been named general manager of Austal USA Advanced Technologies in Charlottesville, Virginia. Hairston will oversee Austal USA’s research and development portfolio. The company is based in Mobile. – MarineLink
