Catalyze Birmingham awards grants to nonprofits

Catalyze Birmingham has given more than $700,000 to four nonprofits for the second round of its Catalyze Birmingham Challenge, which supports organizations that create opportunities for young people to explore new careers. Grants went to Black Women’s Mental Health Institute, Blount County Education Foundation, Jefferson State Community College Foundation and YMCA of Greater Birmingham. – Bham Now

Montgomery extends business license renewal deadline

Because of delays associated with a new software system, the city of Montgomery has extended the deadline for business license renewals until Feb. 21 without penalty. All city tax accounts must be current and paid in full before a renewal will be issued. – City of Montgomery

Motion purchasing Hawaii distributor
