Photographer Herbert P. Tresslar captured the people and places of Montgomery

This photo, circa 1910, takes you into Herbert P. Tresslar’s photo studio in Montgomery. He was a photographer in Montgomery from about 1888 to 1926, working first with his father, Sidney P. Tresslar, at Tresslar’s Photographic Art Studio, which was on Court Square. In 1892, he opened his own business, Tresslar’s Studio, on Dexter Avenue.
