UA will establish National Center on Forensics

The University of Alabama has been awarded $4 million to establish a National Center on Forensics. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice. – Sen. Richard Shelby’s office

Loughead named Regions Financial Services Group leader

Leo Loughead, managing director for Regions’ Financial Services Group, has been named leader of that group, which is part of the Birmingham-based bank’s Specialized Industries division within Corporate Banking. Loughead is based in Atlanta. – Regions
