For the second consecutive year, Hilton Garden Inn Mobile East Bay/Daphne has been named the brand’s top performing hotel. The Daphne property was selected from among 566 hotels across America, winning the highly coveted “Hotel of the Year” award for 2014.
The prestigious award goes each year to the one Hilton property that best embodies the company’s standards in product and hospitality. Known as the Connie Award, for company founder Conrad Hilton, the honor is based on scores in quality assurance evaluations measuring cleanliness, condition and brand standards along with satisfaction and loyalty tracking (SALT) scores, based on thousands of guest surveys throughout the year.
“Being recognized as the brand’s top performing hotel for the second year in a row is a great honor, ” says General Manager Billy Meadows. “This award is a result of our dedicated team, from the owners who provide the means and vision, to all of our associates who implement the plan. Everyone works really hard to provide a quality experience for our guests.”
The Daphne property also received three other performance awards for 2014: the Highest Overall Breakfast Experience Award, the Hilton HHonors Loyalty Award and the Problem Avoidance Award. These awards are based on specific components of the QA evaluations and SALT scores.
The Hilton Garden Inn Mobile East Bay/Daphne is at 29546 N. Main St., Daphne, off Interstate 10 and can be reached at 251-625-0020 or hgidaphne.com.
