Class Action Claimed in No-Class Cruise

More than 100 passengers from the crippled Carnival cruise ship Triumph, that limped into the port of Mobile at the end of tow ropes — with no power, no plumbing and little food — have filed legal papers, hoping to allow a class action suit against the cruise line.

Their ticket contract forbids class action, according to lawyers.com, but attorneys said their clients might be able to overcome that obstacle because of the serious problems suffered by all passengers.
