General contractor Caddell Construction has opened its fourth office in Jacksonville, Florida, joining its corporate headquarters in Montgomery, Alabama, and offices in Bentonville, Arkansas, and Woodstock, Georgia. The new location will position the company to take advantage of Jacksonvilleās growth, but mostly will help them attract talent.
āThis certainly raises our edge in terms of acquiring new work, but the real draw is not about projects for us. The real difference at Caddell has always been our people,ā said Mac Caddell, executive vice president of the contractor. āJacksonville is just a great hub for talent in our industry. Our presence here gives us yet another place to find and foster relationships with talented construction professionals.ā
According to the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, the city has been voted three times as the āNumber one city for expansion and relocation in Americaā by Expansion Management Magazine. City officials say they plan to continue that trend by balancing business opportunities and lifestyle amenities.
Jason Carnes, Caddell senior market leader and director of construction, will lead the new office. āNortheast Florida has great schools like the University of North Florida and the University of Florida to help fill the pipeline of new professionals just starting out, as well as a number of seasoned professionals who enjoy the beach and the outdoor lifestyle this area has to offer,ā said Carnes.
The Jacksonville office will serve the companyās rapidly growing commercial division.
Caddell Construction works in commercial, government an international sectors. It has built more than $13 billion in projects in 35 countries and every region of the U.S.
