Britt denounces Vulcan seizure in Mexico

Sen. Katie Britt is denouncing the apparent seizure of Birmingham-based Vulcan Materials’ Punta Venado port facility by Mexican authorities. Britt cited video security footage posted by Fox News that purports to show the seizure. Vulcan said the video is authentic. – AL.com

Alabama gets $15 million for meat, poultry processing

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded $15 million to the Alabama Agricultural Development Authority to support meat and poultry slaughter and processing businesses in the state.
