Bridgeworth joins Savant Wealth Management

It will mark Savant’s first partnership in Alabama

Bridgeworth Wealth Management, of Birmingham, is joining Savant Wealth Management, a fee-only registered investment advisor with nearly $21 billion in assets under management.

Bridgeworth, with 58 employees and assets under management of approximately $2.2 billion, will mark Savant’s first partnership in Alabama and strengthen the firm’s southeastern footprint.

DeLynn Zell, Bridgeworth co-founder, will continue to lead the Alabama offices, as well as serve in a leadership role at Savant. Zell and current Bridgeworth partners will become member-owners in Savant. All team members of Bridgeworth are joining Savant, with the Birmingham and Huntsville offices remaining in their current locations.

Savant is distinguished by its employee ownership, and Bridgeworth is taking a significant equity stake with several staffers joining as member-owners. In addition to Zell, Bridgeworth’s existing partners include co-founder Wayne Harris, Brian Hinson, Patti Black, Sam Fitch, Jeris Gaston, William Hocutt, Zack Ivey, Jeff McCormack and Jenny Sneed. Joining this group as member-owners in Savant are Stephen Gunter, David LeCompte, Jonathan Millican, David Ward and Stewart Whitt.
