Innovate Alabama opens second round of supplemental funding

Innovate Alabama today opens applications for the second round of supplemental grant funding, and applications will be open for a month. Recipients of Federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer grants can apply for up to $250,000 in supplemental funding.   – Alabama Political Reporter

Legacy Museum now second biggest paid attraction

Montgomery’s Legacy Museum, which opened in 2021, now ranks as Alabama’s second-most popular paid attraction, according to Alabama Tourism. It’s second only to Huntsville’s Space and Rocket Center. – Birmingham Times

 

Ascension St. Vincent’s names new CFO

Scott Hughes has been named CFO of Ascension St. Vincent’s. Hughes joined Ascension Alabama in 2019 after stints at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, Tenet Physician Resources and other health care entities. – Birmingham Business Journal
