Biscuit Love comes to Alabama

The Nashville-based eatery has opened in Cahaba Heights

The bonuts, a fan favorite.

Biscuit Love, a Nashville-based brunch eatery founded by Karl and Sarah Worley in 2012, has opened its first Alabama location on Dolly Ridge Road in Cahaba Heights. It is the restaurant’s fourth location, with the other three in Tennessee, and a fifth location planned for 2023.

Biscuit Love’s Alabama location will be run by Melanie Zarzaur, who is a co-owner with the Worleys.

Offering a menu of breakfast and lunch, some fan favorites created by Biscuit Love are the bonuts, a fried biscuit dough tossed with sugar and topped with lemon mascarpone and served with blueberry compote; and east nasty, a buttermilk biscuit topped with fried boneless chicken thigh, aged cheddar and sausage gravy. The east nasty was named the best sandwich in the country by Bon Appétit editors in 2015. There are several other biscuit-centric standouts on the menu.

Biscuit Love states in its release that it prioritizes sustainable employee care, mentorship opportunities and mental health, with a therapist employed to assist staff members with guidance.
