Birmingham-based KultureCity, a nonprofit that promotes sensory inclusion and accessibility, has been named to Time’s list of 100 most influential companies in 2026. The company was founded in 2013 by Dr. Julian Maha and Dr. Michele Kong. – Bham Now

A&M says it will offer state’s first AI degree

Alabama A&M University in Huntsville will begin offering what it says is the state’s first standalone AI degree  in the fall. Students in the program will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence. – Hville Blast

Construction of Gadsden Athletic Center underway

Birmingham-based Robins & Morton has begun work on the $76.5 million Gadsden Athletic Center. The complex will include a two-story recreation center and sports field development. – AL.com

Innovation center opens in Dothan

The Wiregrass Innovation Center has officially opened in Dothan. The center for research, entrepreneurship and education is at the Carver Research Campus across from the Dothan Civic Center. – Bama Buzz
