All-electric truck to be used by Honda in Alabama unveiled

Virginia Transportation Corp. unveiled its all-electric tractor-trailer Peterbilt 579EV model, which will be used to transport vehicles from Honda’s Lincoln plant to the nearby CSX railhead. It’s a joint project among Peterbilt, Alabama Power, the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition and Virginia Transportation. – AL.com
