Pickleball development coming to Huntsville

Camp Pickle, a pickleball facility with food and drink and more, will open in Huntsville’s MidCity District in 2024. Camp Pickle will feature indoor and outdoor pickleball, as well as classic games like horseshoes, darts and bowling.  – AL.com

Shelby Baptist has new CEO

Holly Dean is the new CEO of Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Sept. 26 will be the first day for Dean, who was born in the hospital. She replaces interim CEO Jeremy Clark. – Shelby County Reporter

 

Athens joint venture has grand opening

Toyota Boshoku Aki USA and Systems Automotive Interiors Alabama celebrated the grand opening of their production facility in Athens this week. The $50 million joint venture has been operating since April 2020, but the grand opening celebration had been postponed due to the pandemic. – News 19
