Four Alabama-based employers – Auburn University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Regions Financial and the University of Alabama – made Forbes’ list of 300 best companies for new graduates. Auburn ranked 15th overall. Other companies with Alabama ties, including NASA, Mercedes-Benz USA and Toyota North America, were on the list, too.   – AL.com

 

Scottsboro Starbucks workers want to vote on union

Workers at a Scottsboro Starbucks have written company CEO Howard Schultz to tell him they intend to form a union. That comes on the heels of a Birmingham location voting to unionize.   – Alabama Political Reporter

Athens projects to bring in millions in sales
