Cullman Regional, a 175-bed independent rural hospital, has launched an outreach program that will deliver consulting and management services to Alabama’s community hospitals. The program intends to assist hospitals with more local care, creating jobs and enhancing quality.
“Throughout many Alabama communities, the commitment to sustain local healthcare is strong,” said Cullman Regional CEO James Clements. “We want to partner with local healthcare leaders to leverage the expertise and lessons learned at Cullman Regional and turn things around for long-term success.”
A decade ago, Cullman Regional began a series of actions to improve all areas of hospital performance by utilizing clinical and business best practices. Due to that strategy, within a few years, the hospital was able to expand access to specialty care.
“We’re proud of these accomplishments; this level of success is only possible when you have a capable and motivated team,” Clements said. “We really believe we can help other community hospitals improve their performance and increase their contributions to the local economy.”
Services Cullman Regional is offering include revenue cycle management, financial benchmarking and quality improvement.
