Birmingham company completes 2 Redstone Gateway projects in Huntsville
Birmingham construction firm Robins & Morton has completed two projects at Redstone Gateway in Huntsville. One is a one-floor, 7,019-square-foot office space to be occupied by Camgian, and the other is a suite with an office and showroom area to be occupied by IPG Photonics. – Robins & Morton
Alabama Center for the Arts named for Arthur Orr
The Athens State University board of trustees has voted to name the Alabama Center for the Arts’ Performing Arts building the Arthur Orr Performing Arts Center. Orr, a state senator, has been instrumental in the formation, development and expansion of the center. – Athens State University
Gulf Shores park plans moving forward
The city of Gulf Shores has accepted a $2.6 million bid to restore Little Lagoon, which will include a new nature park called Laguna Cove. The project will be designed by Goodwyn Mills Cawood with construction by Asphalt Services. – Bama Buzz
