Madison now Alabama’s 2nd-largest county
Madison County grew enough in 2023 to supplant Mobile County as the second-largest in Alabama. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that Madison County, which includes Huntsville, added about 25 people a day last year, while Mobile County added about one person a day in 2023. Jefferson County’s population is down over 2022, but it still ranks first. – AL.com
Huntsville company lands 12-year, nearly $4 billion contract

Jet’s Pizza, the national pizza chain based in Michigan that once had restaurants in Alabama, is coming back. A Jet’s Pizza location is set to open during the summer in Madison. – News 19
