Meet the Alabama women propelling the tech scene

 

Alicia Ryan launched LSINC Corporation in Huntsville in 2008. Today, she is CEO of the company that specializes in product development, engineering, strategy and business operations and services related to intelligence and security. Those services include the management of sensitive compartmental information facilities and special access programs. Previously, she worked for Booz Allen and Hamilton, leading its strategic business intelligence team that specialized in customer analysis, intelligence and strategies supporting investment requests for new business opportunities. Ryan is also active on several boards and committees, including Governor Kay Ivey’s STEM Advisory Committee. She also is past vice president of the Cyber-Huntsville Initiative. Ryan has a degree in industrial organizational psychology from George Mason University and a master’s in organizational leadership, with emphasis on systems thinking and servant leadership, from Chapman University.
