Vulcan exec leaves for Summit

David Donaldson, a 40-year veteran of Vulcan Materials Company, is leaving to become senior advisor for Summit Strategy Group, a California-based corporate reputation and ESG (environmental, social and governance) consulting firm. Donaldson will be based in Birmingham. – Summit Strategy Group

DOJ moves to dismiss price-fixing charges in Pilgrim’s Pride case

The U.S. Department of Justice has moved to dismiss price-fixing claims against Scott Tucker, a former national accounts sales executive for chicken producer Pilgrim’s Pride. Tucker, one of five defendants accused of price-fixing, is represented by Birmingham’s Lightfoot, Franklin & White. – Lightfoot, Franklin & White

 

Foley signs deal with Snap Soccer

Foley Sports Tourism and Snap Soccer have signed a long-term deal to keep elite youth soccer competitions on the schedule. Snap will host the soccer tournaments. The groups have worked together the past six years.  – City of Foley
